The BBI Management Team

Bill Birchler - Chairman & CEO Emeritus

Bill graduated with a B.A. degree from The Ohio State University in 1990, and added a M.S. in Industrial Sciences from the University of Berlin in 1993. He holds numerous honorary degrees.

Bill is single, with a residence in Alexandria, VA. Because of his conviction of crimes against humanities in another country, he is only allowed to visit his Swiss villa twice a year. He often smuggles himself into Amsterdam looking for a good time.

Bill is the founder of BBI, but is also an accomplished inventor, investor, chandelier expert, and favorite grandchild of Charles & Annette Birchler.

He is a lifetime member of the Jewish community centers of North America. He gives blood on regular basis (although the Red Cross has learned that it is better to just dump it out after he leaves the premises).

His interests include: fetish magazines, monster trucks, and Japan bashing.

David Sundstrom - Chief Operating Officer

David has 19 years experience in the IT industry in various roles such as warehouse supervisor, Internet sales rep, hardware sales rep, project manager, resource manager, professional services manager and spontaneous anachronistic colloquialism commentator.  HaZah!  David was lead design engineer and project manager for the Jerdone Island Castle Trebuchet project.  This project was brought in on time and under budget and produced a trebuchet capable of launching a cow over a castle wall with the command "Feche' le mushe".

David is married with one son.  He enjoys filing out profiles on dating web sites under both male and female persona's and on occasion has been matched with himself.

David has authored 4 best selling novels but refuses to provide us the names of the books.  He says we should just "take his word for it" that this is true.

His interests include: Riding Harley Davidson motorcycles, drinking dark beer and yelling anti Islamic slurs in traffic.

Roger Randall - Senior Vice President, Engineering Services

Roger has 25 years experience designing Mechanical systems for commercial, retail and institutional facilities.  He has extensive experience preparing design calculations, cost estimates and specifications for plumbing and fire protection systems.  Mr. Randall attended Dekalb Technical College in Atlanta, Georgia where he studied Mechanical Design and Drafting.  He holds numerous certifications and has undergone a variety of specialized training. Roger is currently the Project Manager for BBI's Bureau of Prison projects and Construction Manager for BBI’s ongoing classified projects.

Roger is married to the former Ann Birchler (very convenient) and they reside in Alexandria, VA.

His most recent accomplishments: The plumbing design of the severe weather facility (garage) and the construction of the new modular Jet Ski docking system at the Birchler Compound at Lake Anna, VA.

Roger's interests include: Buffalo wings, Heineken beer, his African-American girlfriend (Tanisha), and trying to beat his father-in-law in golf. Roger is also the reigning National Midget-Throwing Champion, 5 years running.

Dan Flis - Chief Technology Officer

Dan is still too busy with sports fantasy leagues to provide any personal or professional information.

Andrew P. Sand - Chief Financial Officer

Andy started his professional career with BBI as Bill Birchler's personal After-Hours Taco Bell Courier, but soon left BBI and moved on to more glamorous middle-management positions within the Property and Casualty Insurance field.  While his accomplishments in this industry were many, he his best known for his personal memoir entitled "Sex, Drugs, and Auto Insurance".

Andy reunited with Mr. Birchler in the late1990's when he accepted the position as BBI Chief Economist and was personally responsible for solving The Latin Debt Crisis with two Pesos and a chain letter. Since then Andy has spent the majority of his time securing BBI's long-term virtual profits by investing in Mortgage Backed Securities.

In his free time Andy enjoys drinking Fat Tire, carelessly lighting fireworks, and complaining about the state of The Ohio State football program.
